Cover & poster design for Ken Kesey’s classic ‘One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest’, set in a psychiatric ward in the 50s. The concept was ‘a brain trapped in another’s hands’, with the manicured nails representing the all-powerful Nurse Ratched and the brain in the jar being the mischevious McMurphy. I created the brain from air drying clay, and used jelly to set it within the jar.
